How do I participate in an event?
Will you issue tax receipts for my event?
As a registered charity we follow the guidelines set out by Canada Revenue Agency. Please review our charitable tax receipt guidelines to determine if we’ll be able to provide this kind of support to your event.
Are the Sens Foundation or Roger’s House logos available for me to use in my event materials?
The Sens Foundation and Roger’s House brands are very powerful within the community and as such we’re selective about how and when our logos are used. Once we’ve approved your community event application we’re often happy to share our logos with event organizers.
How do I get media out to the event?
Make sure to invite them! Issue a media release about your event to community newspapers, local radio stations and tv news outlets. If you would like a listing please of these please contact Jennifer Graves at 613-599-0223.
Will the Sens Foundation help promote my event?
Do I have to take care of the licensing for my event?
The Sens Foundation does not provide licensing for lotteries, raffles or social gaming events. For more information on charitable lottery licensing, please visit http://www.agco.on.ca
Will we receive Ottawa Senators items from the Sens Foundation to assist with our fundraising event?
We do our best to support community events with these types of requests, however our resources are limited. Make sure to outline the kind of in-kind gifting you are seeking on your community event application form.
