Financial Grants

At this time we are not in a position to commit funds to new projects. While the Sens Foundation does anticipate it will give more back to Hockey Country this season than ever before, we are not anticipating having the same level of discretionary funding dollars available as we have had in previous years. These are the dollars that allow us to accept online funding applications and grant funds out to a number of charitable organizations in the region each year.

We, like so many other charitable organizations, are feeling the impact of this new economic reality we find ourselves in. We made a number of larger donations earlier in the 2008-09 season and we have a number of on-going multiyear funding commitments we need to look at fulfilling prior to making any new commitments.

We wish all organizations best of luck with their charitable endeavours and salute them for making a difference in the lives of children and youth in our communities.
