Our first Sens game at Scotiabank Place - a fan story.

This story comes to us from a new Ottawa resident who recently immigrated to Canada.

Ottawa Senators - Washington Capitals 3-2

Great evening with a friend, the first hockey match I went to see in my life.

Wonderful experience. Entertainment : A+, a great show for families. I'm a super fan of soccer, which is the national Italian sport for excellence (of course corrupted like the whole country), but I wish in Italy families could bring their children to enjoy an event of sport like people do here, in a safe and happy environment. If what I've seen yesterday is the standard environment of a hockey match, we can not even compare the 2 events, the gap is way too huge. Not to forget to mention that supporters are all mixed together...

Game: A+++ , as I said before we attended an hockey game for the first time and we decided to cheer for our home team. In the first period we were loosing 2-0, but what an experience the come back , and victory almost at the last minute! From the hell to the sky, we couldn't end it better, what emotion!

I would never thought to attend an hockey game but I’m very happy I was there.
