Dancing in the Rain for Roger’s House is a major gift program developed to raise an additional $1 million over three years to allow the Sens Foundation to meet our commitments to the house. It is themed around a quote two mothers gave us at the 2010 Roger's House Telethon:
“We live each day being grateful for the gifts our children have given us. Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it has become a journey of learning to dance in the rain. The staff at Roger’s House helps our family dance and gives our children the same unconditional love that we do.”
Sue & Missy Lumley-Pfeil,
mothers of Zoey and Oliver
There are currently four OPPORTUNITES FOR SUPPORT:
- Operating Roger’s House come rain or shine
- West Quebec families caught in the storm
- The safest place during a storm is in the basement
- Saving for a rainy day
One of the key ways of presenting Dancing in the Rain has been at information breakfasts at Roger’s House which allow people to actually see the house and learn about the amazing work that is being done to support children with life-limiting illnesses.
