Roger's House Honourary Chairs Caitlin and Chris Neil to Accept Special Telethon Donation
The Sens Foundation will host a news conference on Wednesday, Oct. 19 at 2 p.m. to announce the 2011 Roger's House Telethon presented by CN which will air on Sportsnet Friday, Nov. 4 prior to the Senators home game against the Montreal Canadiens beginning at 6:30 p.m.'
Seven-year old Keenan Woods will present Ottawa Senators forward and Roger's House chairs Chris Neil and his wife Caitlin with a special donation to signal the official launch of this year's Telethon. Also expected in attendance are several families who will be sharing their Roger's House stories on this year's broadcast, as well as Sens Foundation president Danielle Robinson, Roger's House executive director Lloyd Cowin, and Telethon and CTV Midday co-host Leanne Cusack.
The Neils, Robinson and Gisele Bernier-White, CN's manager of sponsorship and communication, will be on hand to discuss their commitment to raising funds for Roger's House and how this year's proceeds will help ensure the facility can continue to provide the highest level of care for children and youth in our community.
