Sens Foundation and Scotiabank invite Canadians to share what ‘Richness’ means to them

The Richness Project is a long-term initiative that invites all Canadians to share their special life moments, and is an important part of Scotiabank’s global philanthropic program, Bright Future, which supports communities both in Canada and abroad. By submitting a ‘richness moment’ photo or video, participants will have the option to choose one of the featured charities to receive a $1 donation from Scotiabank. As one of these charities, this is a fantastic opportunity for the Sens Foundation to raise money and awareness for Roger’s House.

The Sens Foundation is participating in The Richness Project, a one-of-a-kind social experiment that will raise money for Roger’s House and dozens of other charities across the country by giving Canadians a platform to share moments special to them which make life truly fulfilling or ‘rich’.

“We are honoured to be participating as one the charities in The Richness Project,” said Danielle Robinson, President of the Sens Foundation. “This is a fantastic opportunity for us to raise money and awareness for Roger’s House, and we are calling on our support network to submit their own ‘richness moments’ to The Richness Project and encourage their friends to do the same.”

The Richness Project was officially launched at Game 4 of the Stanley Cup playoffs in Ottawa on April 23 when Roger’s House mother Georgina Neville was surprised and honoured by her husband Shawn for enriching the lives of their two specially-abled children Christopher and Gillian. Scotiabank is donating $10,000 to Roger’s House in Georgina’s name. Their video is part of the national promotion of the project and can be seen above.
