3rd Annual Sens Mile Charity Chili Cook-Off
It's that time of year again! Get ready for the 3rd Annual Sen's Mile Charity Chili Cook Off. We are shutting down Elgin Street for a great day of chili cooking, music and ball hockey - you don't want to miss it! The event will be held on Sunday April 28th, from 10am-6pm. The ball hockey tournament will be an all-day affair, while chili tasting will take place between 11am and 3pm. Special guest judges include Mayor Jim Watson and Police Chief Charles Bordeleau.
Tickets can be purchased in advance for the chili tasting for only $10 at: http://chilicomp.eventbrite.ca. For more information or to register for the ball hockey tournament please call Beth Evans at 613-809-3684. It costs $200 to register a team (up to 7 players, 4-on-4 style play). This is a double elimination tournament format, and the winning team will receive a private patio party at Woody's!
Live entertainment will include performances by the Dube Brothers and Little Miss Taken. All revenue generated from the event will go directly to the Ottawa Senators Foundation. So come out and join us, support a great cause, and be prepared for a great day!
