Ottawa Senators Foundation, Ferguslea Properties Limited and City of Ottawa to open third Sens RINK at Bayshore Park
OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators Foundation (@sensfoundation), in partnership with Ferguslea Properties Limited and the City of Ottawa, will debut the third phase of the Sens RINK (Recreational Investments in Neighbourhoods for Kids) initiative when the Accora Village SENS RINK at Bayshore Park is officially declared open on Thursday, Aug. 14 at 10:30 a.m.
What: The Sens RINK in Bayshore Park, located in Ottawa’s Bay Ward, will include the installation of hockey dasher boards, fencing, hockey nets in the winter and basketball nets in the summer. Managed by the City of Ottawa, Sens RINK recreational spaces offer a variety of social recreation and sports programs that will engage hundreds of children and youth in Accora Village and beyond.
Ferguslea Properties Limited, owners of Accora Village, is currently undergoing a number of exciting revitalization initiatives in the community previously known as Bayshore Village. The Sens RINK project is the latest commitment to bring renewed energy and excitement to the already vibrant community.
